Go to Admin > System > System Settings. Scroll to the Email Server section
To change the default email address, enter it in the From Address text field.
In the SMTP Server text field, type the hostname or IP address of your SMTP server.
E.g. smtp.mydomain.com
Complete the Username and Password text fields if required
To test, type your email address in the Test Email text field and click Send.
Click Save.
Go to Admin > System > System Shutdown. Click Reboot Server to apply.
Optional – you can use SMSEagle as SMTP server
Go to Admin > Alerting > Status Alerts. Specify a filter, add an email action.
- In the email to field type: PHONE_NUMBER@IP.ADDRESS.OF.SMSEAGLE
(for example: 123456789@192.168.1.101), which is the exact format required by Email2SMS feature. Click Save
