The SMS to Email feature lets you send incoming SMS or MMS messages to an email address. The forwarding can be done in two ways: either to the email of the last sender or to one fixed email address for all messages. Here is how the 2 modes work:
Forwarding of incoming SMS to email of last sender (so called Two-way Email2SMS & SMS2Email) In this mode, when SMSEagle receives incoming SMS/MMS, it checks if earlier anyone was sending SMS to the number from incoming SMS using Email2SMS. If last sender is found, the incoming SMS is forwarded to the email address of that sender. If no last sender is found, then the incoming message is forwarded to a default email address given in plugin settings.
It forwards all the incoming messages to one fixed email address. In this mode all incoming SMS/MMS messages are forwarded to always the same email address.
Configuration
Escalation group is a special version of a Phonebook group. It has additional properties like “Interval” (defines a time interval between sending of text messages to consecutive group members) and “Stop word” (defines a keyword prefix which must be sent to SMSEagle device to stop an escalation queue). The order of group members can be set in the group editing window.

For each rule a user can define:
